South Lake 2018 Award Letter Workshop: April 25, 2018 at 2:30pm register for the Award Letter Workshop
South Lake High School is hosting an Award Letter Workshop for current seniors attending college in the fall of 2018. Parents and students can attend together, or students can attend by themselves. Award Letter Workshops are an excellent way to gain a better understanding of the financial aid packages provided to students. Students are shown how to evaluate an award letter by using the college or university website to understand direct and indirect expenses, and applying the financial aid they wish to accept, to fully understand the bottom line expense. Students should bring: 1. Usernames and passwords for each college/university student portal 2. Award letters from each college/university you're considering.
